Mr John Olivier of the Mogale Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) said the opening of President Square "will herald a new dawn for Mogale City and it's people" President Square,which houses the anchor tenant, President Hyper, saw its construction beginning in October 2007 on the grounds of the old OK building which has not been operational for more than 10 years.

The grand opening saw throngs of excited shoppers and business people taking advantage of the festive season savings. It all started with the vision, fortitude and dedication of one man, Mr George Synodinos, who still actively assists, guides and advises at all levels of this great family business.
